We screen the supporter by phone to verify their information before we release your information. These supporters are asked to commit letters and care packages for the duration of your deployment. As I'm sure your aware this can be costly and I know very appreciated by you. So if you answer yes to being adopted please make every effort to respond to the person that has sent you a package. Currently due to the volume of sign ups we are running behind on getting care packages out. We apologize for this and will get them out as soon as possible. If you are signing up multiple troops please sign up the Point of Contact (meaning the person that is willing to receive the packages) and the number of care packages that you need. This will help you from having to sign up multiple times and it helps us with the shipping! Also we receive requests all the time for names and addresses of troops, and it’s our policy not to release addresses unless we have your permission. If it’s ok with you to release your name please indicate in your sign up that we have your permission to release it. We will do our best to screen the people requesting before we release it.
